Property Development Book Club
The Property Development Book Club (“PDBC”) is a collective of property professionals who hosted discussions historically on Clubhouse, around various topics relating to the property development industry in the UK. The group consists of architects, quantity surveyors, structural engineers, planning consultants and development managers who have a vast amount of experience working on mixed use developments in the UK and abroad. Previous topics include, Public Private Partnership, Development Appraisals vs Planning Appraisals, amongst others.
PDBC was born out of the pandemic, the group felt that there was an opportunity to bring value through conversations on the many facets of building, in an online forum. Clubhouse was a natural starting point for the various conversations led by members of the PDBC. The Clubhouse group now has over 900 members, and our aim is to continue to create professional, lively and relatable property development content that will inform, trigger and inspire, while growing our followership.
